15 months old!!

Our little MONKEY!!

Sweet Little E, you are 15 months old today!! I have to say, this has to be one of my favorite ages, even if it is a bit exhausting :) You are just the perfect combo of baby and little boy and are just so very lovable! Here is what you are up to at 15 months old!

-You weigh 27 pounds and are 32.5 inches tall (exact same measurements as Ayden at 15 months)
-You wear size 24 months clothes, size 5 diaper, and size 6.5 shoes
-You still aren't walking independently, which is a bit of a concern for us, and we will be addressing it with your pediatrician at your check-up next week. All of your other areas of development are right on track, and you will walk holding our hand or using a push toy, and you walk holding on to furniture, chairs, etc with ease, but if you aren't holding on to someone or something, you drop to your knees and crawl. You are a speedy and efficient crawler and we feel like most likely everything is fine and you are just taking your time. However, we are anxious to talk to your doctor and get his opinion.
-You are a CLIMBER!! You are the reason that they invented furniture straps to bolt to the wall :) You climb up and over everything you can, and seem quite fearless! We have to watch you every little second!!
-You can use a spoon to feed yourself
-You love to "read" books and turn the pages
-You dance to music and can call the Hogs! It is SO stinkin' cute!
-You jabber all the time, but the words you say clearly are Momma, Dada (your favorite word), Ayden, and Andybear. You laugh all the time!
-You make smacking noises to call the dogs like we do
-You LOVE the dogs!!
-You give high fives
-You love to fill and dump any type of container over and over and over!
-You absolutely love playing with your big brother! You chase him all over the place, laugh, and wrestle. You let him carry you around and don't mind a bit!
-You mind VERY well! I hope I don't regret saying this, but all we have to say is "no-no" once or twice and you will stop whatever you are doing and move on. In fact, we debated on whether or not to put up a Christmas tree because when Ayden was your age, it was out of the question! We had to have a small tabletop tree with him. You, however, don't bother the tree and if you do get near it or touch it, we tell you no and you stop! It's amazing how well you mind! For now anyway ;)
-You have a little bit of a temper, but are easily calmed and distracted.
-You are completely weaned from daytime bottles and have already transitioned down to one nap a day.
-You still get a bedtime bottle and usually one around 2 or 3 am, which is going to be the hardest one to stop. You wake up screaming and jumping up and down in your bed wanting your bottle! It's really about the only time of day you even cry, but you mean business!!
-You like to be put to bed no later than 7, you love going night night!
-You are still a great eater but can be pretty messy, but you LOVE bathtime!
-You are spending your first weekend away from Mommy and Daddy this coming weekend while we go on a trip for our anniversary. Memaw and Pappaw will be keeping you and we feel sure are up to the challenge of our active, busy, sweet little boy!
