Ethan Jeffrey at 17 Months Old:
-Blows kisses
-Scribbles with a crayon
-If he sees you with a diaper and wipes and you tell him it's time to change his diaper, he walks over to you and lays down on his own! no questions asked! lol!
-Lays down in the floor when having fits or if he is pouting about something
-New words: Cracker (cack-er), cookie (ca-ca), bite, Debbie (his MDO teacher, he loves her!), book
-loves, loves, loves playing outside and has a total fit if anyone dares to go out without him!
-INTO EVERYTHING!!!! I just cannot stress this enough!!
-goes to the bottom of the stairs and starts hollering "night night" between 6:30-7:00 every night!
-loves bathtime!! darts up the stairs and straight to the tub the minute you say bathtime!
-When he sees something he wants to eat and he has his binky, he takes it out and throws it, and starts hollering for it! I have become one of those mothers who open boxes of snacks at Walmart before paying because once Ethan sees it, he has a fit for it!! We were on the cookie/cracker aisle on Walmart the other day, and he saw a box of Nilla Wafers. He took out his binky, threw it, and started yelling "Ca-Ca! Ca-Ca!" So, yes, he got a Ca-Ca. Several in fact. And we finished shopping (mostly) in peace :-)
-For the same reason, Ayden can no longer have a snack in the car because Ethan flips out for a bite too, and there's no way I'm letting a rear-facing toddler in a reclining carseat eat in the car! Ayden isn't too happy about the new rule ;)
-Follows one step directions- bring me a book, cup, ball, etc.
-First thing in the morning he starts piling books in my lap for me to read to him, he loves books!
-Walks around with real or pretend phones to his ear saying "Bye"
-Such a cuddlebug! He will just randomly crawl up in our laps, lay his head on our shoulder and say "awwwww"
Such a sweet, lovable, onery boy that we love so very much!!!
