This and that...

Just wanted to post some of the new things Ayden is doing so I won't forget them! (Seeing as this blog has become his virtual baby book!) Ayden really has grown up right before our eyes in just the last few weeks! He is more of a little boy now than a baby! Here are some of the things he is doing and saying now:

-He loves to look at the blog with me and recognizes people in pictures and names them. So far he has named Dada, Mama, Nick, and Pappaw. He also grins ear to ear when he sees anyone else he knows but can't quite say their name yet- Grandma, Emery Jai and Guice, etc.

-He says "Ho" for hello every time the phone rings, and he then brings us the phone.

-He says "ta-too" for thank-you when you give him something, usually without even being prompted.

-when you ask him if he wants to do something he likes (go bye-bye, take a bath, eat) he says "K" and nods his head

-He tells Andy "No!" and "Go!" when he tries to get his food

-He says "no" right before or as he is doing something he knows he is not supposed to do

-He says "gunk" for drink

-He imitates everything we do,such as if we cough or sneeze, he pretend coughs or sneezes

-He tries to put his own shoes and socks on, which is so very cute to watch!

-He can point to his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair, belly, and toes

-The plan to hold off on peanut butter until age 2 didn't pan out...he sampled one of Emery Jai's peanut butter crackers and Nanny's peanut butter fudge and is now a big fan of the stuff! At least we have the allergy scare out of the way! I wasn't present for either of the peanut butter experiences and didn't learn of them until several days later :) I did however let him indulge in my homemade no-bake peanut butter cookies yesterday!

-He is sleeping in his own bed -pushed right up against mom and dad's :)

Cute new pics!

Riding his new bounce and spin pony, with his cowboy hat of course!

Waking up sweet from his nap

Playing at the park

Such a big boy!
