Aquarium!

Last Saturday we took the boys to Oklahoma Aquarium in Tulsa for the first time! It was a lot of fun! They are both so inquisitive and smart and just love seeing and doing new things! Ethan is past the age of "chilling" in the stroller during outings...he wanted to be up and out in the middle of everything! He is SUCH a toddler now....he had little fits between exhibits. He loved seeing the jellyfish tank and screamed when we walked away, until we reached the next tank. Then he loved the next tank, and screamed (back arching and all!) until we reached the next. This continued for most of the time we were there, which made things interesting for sure...but it was still so fun seeing him enjoying himself so much, between fits anyway!! Ha! He is starting to remind me very much of Ayden...best word to describe them both: PASSIONATE!! And that's not altogether a bad thing ;)

Ayden had a great time too, he asked lots of questions and loved learning about all the different animals. His favorite part was walking through the shark tunnel where you could see sharks swimming all around and above you! He got to feed some sea turtles, but when we came to the exhibit of petting a stingray, he strongly declined!! Can't say I blame him...the word "sting" doesn't sound too safe! He also wouldn't get anywhere near the jellyfish tanks because a little girl in his class at school told him she got stung by a jellyfish at the beach last summer and ever since she told him that, he adamantly tells us he NEVER wants to go the beach. EVER. So seeing the jellyfish up close and personal freaked him out! LOL! Anyway here are some pics from our fun day!
