Anderson Family Update

I realized it's been awhile since I have posted about anything other than Ayden, and while I do realize that he is the most lovable and interesting member of the family, I thought I might update everyone on how the rest of us are doing!

Chris is a mere 3 WEEKS from finishing his Master's degree!! I am so excited and proud of him. He is so ready to be finished, he has to read a book and write a 10 page paper every week! He will officially have his MBA in 3 weeks but the graduation ceremony will be held in December at the main John Brown campus in Siloam Springs. There is really no new exciting news with me, I am currently recovering from strained back muscles (a recurring problem for me!), probably a result of the combination of getting the house ready to sell, working, and keeping up with Ayden, which is a lot of work for my very weak back!

The day after Chris finishes school, we are having Ayden's 1st birthday party in Mena (I am mailing out invitations next week) and then we are off to Destin, FL for a week! We have rented a beach house with my best friend Jenny and her husband Kyle, and my brother Nick and his girlfriend Brandy. This will be Chris' first visit to Florida and my first visit to Destin, we could not be more excited. I also have to announce that I am going to be an "auntie" next March as Jenny and Kyle have just learned they are expecting their first baby! We could not be more thrilled for them, they will make wonderful parents and I cannot wait to have another baby to love and spoil!

Our realtor is hosting an open house for us on August 10th, keep us in your prayers that we will receive an offer on the house soon! We are still very psyched about our upcoming plans for the fall but I can only discuss that minimally since this is a public blog :)

Finally, I have to mention that Ayden is walking EVERYWHERE! He has also learned how to climb, so I have a feeling the coming weeks and months are only going to get more interesting! The newest thing he has learned to say is "stop, Jack" as Jack ( our youngest Jack Russell Terrier) has been having behavioral problems and has been getting in trouble more often! Anyway, that is about all with us! We are doing very well and are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
