Little Jessica

We all agree that Ayden can look very much like Chris or myself, depending on his expression, but lately it has become very clear that he has my temperment! He is so strong-willed and short-tempered, I find myself laughing out loud at him because it is literally like looking in a mirror! My parents have been telling the stories of my childhood tantrums for years, warning me that I will "pay for my raising" and I guess that time has come! When Ayden is upset about something or not getting his way, he acts exactly like me (or at least how I acted as a child, I try to keep the tantrums to a minimum these days :) For instance, if I put him down to make a bottle or change his diaper and he does not want to be put down, he lets out high-pitched screams, arches his back, kicks, and literally throws himself up and down off the floor!! I am probably the only person who finds this comical, I can't help it, I see a little Jessica!! But on the other hand, when he is happy and all is good, he is precious, just like his momma!!
