Sweet Little Pouts!
10 years!!!!
This past weekend Chris and I attended our 10 year class reunion! Thanks to Chris' reign as class president, we also were responsible for organizing the event, but not without the help of my very wonderful best friend from high school, Jenny! We could not have made it the success it was without her wonderful help! We started the weekend with a Tailgate Party at the Bearcat football game (which was sadly followed by their 1st loss of the season!); then on Saturday, we met several classmates and their families at a local park for a picnic. On Saturday night we got all dressed up and went to Spinelli's for a very nice evening of cocktails and yummy food. We had a really good turnout with classmates from all over, including North Carolina and Florida! It was so fun to meet everyones spouses and children and catch up! I still just can't believe it's been 10 years!! I have to say, it was extremely sentimental and special to me to return to my reunion with my high school sweetheart. When we wrote our 10 year goals our senior year of high school, we both wrote that we would be married to each other with children, and I'm sure the teachers just rolled their eyes at another high school couple who thought they were in love. Well...we showed them! ;)
Then and now...look at how we've changed!

10 years, 4 college degrees, several jobs, 4 moves and homes, and 2 kids later, and somehow we still feel like a couple of teenagers in love!

No worries in the world except which one of our houses we were sleeping
at on Friday night!
Ayden and Guice
I absolutely love that Ayden has a boy cousin the same age! They love each other and play so well together! Ayden and G man got lots of quality time together when we were in Mena last weekend!

Craft Fair Weekend!
Last weekend my Mom came up for craft festival weekend in NWA. We went to War Eagle and Spanker Creek, both were great! The weather was a bit warm for my liking (in October anyway) but it was very beautiful! The leaves are starting to change and it is so nice being outdoors. I took my camera with the intention of taking lots of pics of the beautiful scenery, especially at War Eagle, but alas, I learned that in outings with more than one child, taking pictures sometimes takes a back burner :) Both boys were sooo good though! Ayden was very content to ride in his stroller and take in all the sights, and Ethan slept in the wrap the entire time. I only managed to get 2 pics at War Eagle-one of Ayden in the stroller, and one of Ethan asleep when we got back to the car, lol. But it's memories nonetheless! At Spanker Creek, Ayden rode the little train and Memaw got asked to be the honorary conductor! I think my favorite part of the fairs was the kettle corn and roasted almonds. yum!! This was the second year of my mom and I going to the festivals together and I am excited to be making it a tradition!

Wild Wilderness Safari!
Yesterday we headed to Gentry for a morning at the safari! It's been over a year since we went last, and Ayden was soooo excited! He had such a great time in the petting zoo and on the drive thru safari. We had a little extra excitement when we got a flat tire out in the middle of the drive thru where we were surrounded by signs that said "Stay in vehicle at all times with windows up" YIKES! Fortunately all the wild animals left Chris alone while he (very quickly!) changed the tire :) We definetely had a day of fun memories!

One month old!
Wow, I really, really can't believe it's already been a month since Ethan came into our family! What a whirlwind it's been! I have never been quite so tired in all my life, but at the same time, so happy! Sometimes I just have to pinch myself because I still can't believe I am the mommy of 2 boys! Nothing makes me happier than sitting in my rocking chair with a sweet boy in each arm :) Ayden loves Ethan so much and is always saying things like "he's perfect" or "I love Ethan, he's so cute!" Ayden is also always asking when Ethan is going to get "bigger" like him so they can play together. Just in the last few days, Ethan has started staying awake for longer periods and focusing on our faces. This morning Ayden walked into the living room and Ethan's head turned and he just stared at Ayden, it was so sweet! He is still such a calm and sweet baby and spends the majority of his day on the boob. He loves to nurse! I can usually put him in his swing for an hour or so a couple times a day to get stuff done around the house, but other than that, he is attached to mommy! He sleeps 2-4 hours at a time at night (last night he slept 5!) and sleeps in the bed in the crook of my arm...something I did not plan on doing again, but I MUST have my sleep, and that's the only way to get it at this point! In the next couple of weeks, the plan is to try getting him to sleep in the cosleeper and get him used to it so when I go back to work he won't keep Chris up all night! We will see how that goes! We haven't taken him out yet except to doctor's appointments, short car rides, and a trip to Mena, but we have several outings planned this month so he will get to see lots of new things! (Or sleep in the Moby wrap while Ayden does some fun things :) He seems to be growing well, but he goes to the doctor next Tuesday for a weight check just for my own peace of mind :) I will update with his new weight then!

Ethan's Newborn Pics
Jenny once again did a fabulous job taking pictures of our precious little guy! I see so many similarities to Ayden! Click HERE to see pics of Ayden at the same age. One thing is for sure, I have 2 very little handsome men!!
