So much snow!

Even though snow is nothing new to us this year, I will say this is the most snow we have ever seen! It is so deep and so beautiful! We got somewhere between 6-8 inches! We took Ayden out for a sled ride this morning and he was happy to just be pulled along and enjoy the ride! This morning he looked outside and said, "look Momma, it's Christmas!" lol! After as much snow as he has already seen this year, he's probably going to be more excited to see sunshine and 75 degrees this spring! And honestly, we will too! Snow is pretty...but we're okay if we don't see anymore for another year! Too bad there is a thick layer of ice underneath it all...this mess is going to take quite a while to dry up!

Ayden's funny laugh

Sometimes Ayden has the funniest laugh (Chris calls it his Pee-Wee Herman laugh, lol). Here is a video of him "scaring" me with his lion hand puppet he made and then laughing about it. The funny laugh is at the very end--but the whole thing is pretty darn cute if you ask me :)

Family of 4!

Chris and I are very excited to announce that we will be welcoming a new baby to our family this September! We feel so very blessed! We are so happy to give Ayden a sibling, even though he said "NO!" when we asked him if he wanted to be a big brother :) Please keep me and this precious little one in your prayers throughout this pregnancy journey!

Playdate!

Today Ayden and I met my friend Tara from work and her 2 year old son, Alex, at Chick-fila for lunch and playing! This was the boys first time to meet and they played very well together! We can't wait to get together with them again soon!

Fun inside!!

With a ZERO degree wind chill today, we are once again staying inside for the day! I had to get a little creative to keep the monkey entertained, but this did the trick! Who needs the stinkin' park anyway?!

Snow Day!

We were very surprised this morning to see that we had gotten 3-4 inches of snow, a bit more than the dusting to 1 inch that was in the forecast! The roads are completely covered, although with my 4 wheel drive I was able to make it home from work okay, thank goodness! We had planned a big family fun afternoon--we were going to take Ayden to his first movie and then to Chuck E Cheese, but those plans were soon replaced with playing in the snow and drinking hot chocolate in front of the fireplace! Oh well, we'll take fun any way we can get it! :)
